A speaking engagement at Northwestern University by William Ayers, the 1960s radical whose connections to Barack Obama became a campaign issue, has been postponed, a university official said Tuesday.
A new date has not been set, said Alan Cubbage, vice president for university relations.
The former Weather Underground radical had been in contract negotiations to speak at the Evanston campus Thursday night. He was invited by a Muslim student group.
